Personal Statement
I genuinely believe in people’s inner strength and ability to discover answers within themselves, connecting with their Best Self and their surroundings. Self-awareness, behavior, and understanding of their environment are pivotal in shaping one’s life and decisions. Distractions, tensions between intrinsic motivational drivers, responsibilities, stress, and societal expectations challenge our inner strength and awareness. That is where coaching plays a valuable role.
Based on the standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), I define coaching as a “professional partnership characterized by a collaborative and solution-focused process that fosters self-awareness, goal-setting, and action planning to help individuals maximize their personal and professional potential.”
My coaching philosophy is rooted in my profound understanding of human nature, culture, motivation, and behavior, gained through 15 years of professional experience in various roles, such as a nurse, portfolio manager, organizational development advisor, and strategy consultant, spanning Europe, Africa and Asia and diverse institutions, all centred on prioritizing people and their development.
My principles focus on coaching as a powerful way for self-awareness, empowering my clients to discover actionable steps to help them change and achieve their goals. I guide individuals, teams, and organizations toward clear and practical steps needed for personal growth and measures of success.
My coaching practice is grounded in the belief that intrinsic motivation shapes how people perceive themselves, their environment, their actions, and their reactions to others. Intrinsic motivation serves as the driving force for change and achievement. I adopt a solutions-oriented approach, concentrating on individual and team strengths and capabilities connecting with their desired behaviors and goals.
With my extensive knowledge of people, diverse educational background, coaching credentials, and professional experience, I’ve naturally evolved into a leadership coach, assisting teams and individuals in becoming happier, more high-performing, and future-ready within a professional context.
Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality are my core ethical values. I prioritize being approachable to people, teams, and organizations, recognizing them as experts in their respective fields. My working relationship is built on respect and partnering with clients, helping them transform insights into actionable steps to achieve their objectives.
